Forms and Fees

In order for your treatment to go as smoothly as possible, we ask that you submit payment at the beginning of the session so that you can spend your therapy time focusing on you.

We request that you make a payment at least three hours prior to your appointment so that you can spend your therapy time focusing on your needs. To make a payment select the ‘Make a Payment’ tab at the top of this page or click on the Paypal button below.

I also accept Venmo payments.


Free Initial 30-minute phone consultation

A free initial phone consultation is offered for new clients. To schedule your free consultation visit my contact page, use either the contact form or send an email and note that you are interested in a free phone consultation.


Rates

$170 per 50 minutes — individual therapy session

$200 per 70 minutes — couples counseling or family sessions

$150 for letter writing services

Phone/Skype Sessions

60 minutes – $165.00


Insurance

For effective psychotherapy to occur, privacy and confidentiality are essential. For this reason sometimes insurance coverage can feel like a violation of patient privacy. Insurance companies typically require that patients be diagnose with a mental disorder in order to receive payment for treatment. Symptoms such as depression and/or anxiety tend to occur when something is out of balance in our lives. Dr. Holland does no believe that having symptoms equals a mental disorder.

Insurance Companies often request extensive treatment notes, dictate the scope of treatment and the length of treatment (among other things), as a result your right to privacy is automatically waived. Dr. Holland believes that treatment decisions about your psychotherapy need to be made collaboratively between patient and doctor, as you work together to find solutions to your needs and challenges.

For patients who choose to use insurance, and if your insurance provider accepts out of network providers Dr. Holland will provide formal billing that can be submitted to your insurance company for personal reimbursement. It is not uncommon for insurance providers to reimburse customers who choose to see out of network providers.

Cancellation Policy

You must notify me at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment that you cannot come otherwise you are responsible for paying the full cost of the session.

All credit cards are accepted through PayPal. If you will be using a credit card to pay for your treatment, we request that you make a payment at least three hours prior to your appointment so that you can spend your therapy time focusing on your needs.
